BLACKPOOL PRIDE FESTIVAL 2014 IS NOW LAUNCHED.
 
 

We are delighted to announce that Blackpool Pride Festival is being held alongside the European Same Sex Dance Championships, run by the Sugar Dandies, at Blackpool’s iconic Winter Gardens.  This is the first time the European Championships have been held in the UK and this is going to make our Festival a major UK event.  We are also holding a vehicle and walking parade which is already attracting a lot of interest and is free to enter.  If you are interested please contact Lynda Bagan at parade@blackpoolpridefest.com

 

 

houndshillWe are delighted to announce that Houndshill, Kaos Bar, The Flying Handbag, Galleon Bar, Mardis Gras, Ma Kelly’s North, Peek A Booze, Kitty’s Bar, Wet Wet Wet Sauna and Viva Blackpool are now full Partners of Blackpool Pride Festival 2014.

We are also very pleased to announce that BAGs Hotel Group are sponsoring this website. We expect a large number of visitors from both the UK and from Europe so we advise people to book their accommodation early.  BAGs hotels can be found on http://www.bagsblackpool.com/.  All these hotels are gay owned and run.

 

 

 

 

We are also very pleased that Blackpool BID are sponsoring the Parade, Dahlia’s Kitchen are sponsoring our various stages.  The Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are sponsoring our silicon wristbands which will soon be on sale around Blackpool.  We are very pleased that Timeless Aesthetics are sponsoring our Market Stalls . They can be found at http://www.timelessaesthetics.co.uk   We Are Family magazine are sponsoring our Family Zone run by Monty Youth and Community Organisation and Blackpool and Fylde College and Blackpool Sixth Form College are sponsoring and organising our Young Peoples zone.

Blackpool Pride Festival will include both local and national singers / entertainers.  There will also be a vehicle and walking Parade, a Family Zone, a Trans Zone,  Market Stalls and a Health Zone.  We are also organising an exhibition to celebrate Blackpool’s LGB&T Culture, History and Heritage.  Please be aware that there has already been keen interest shown in the Parade so please register your interest with Lynda Bagan at parade@blackpoolpridefest.com as soon as possible.
